About

Our StoryIt all started with our 1986 Volkswagen Westfalia, she opened our eyes to Van life especially with the multipurpose interior layout. On the outside, we felt there was room for improvement.  Who are we?  We are a couple with very similar interests and creativity.  Eric has amazing metal working skills and is not scared to try something new.  Kelly's eye for details quickly became freshening up the interior of the bus and providing ideas for storage or improvements on the outside of the Westy.  Eric made a new rear bumper for the Westy which had a BBQ swing away mount.  But then a new project was brought home...

Then we became VW addicts After loving camping in the Westy, we picked up a syncro that had a blown engine and sat in a field for 10+ years.  That's when the possibilities became endless....  It is a 1988 Olympic Vanagon brought to Calgary by the German team for the Winter Olympic games.  Interior was set up for 7 passengers.  This was not going to work for camping.  After completely redoing the drive train and putting in a 2.2 Subaru engine, came time to make it a camper.  All the seats were pulled, and we made a full custom interior.  Kelly sewed curtains, re-upholstered the seats and the back matrices.  Eric built bumpers with swing away BBQ and tire, as wells as many other custom items.  With the US dollar rising we have noticed a lack in certain parts and accessories being available to Canadians.  As we have a deep passion for the van(or bus) life we want to help out our local VW families and offer new and improved items.

Fast forward… we moved to the Okanagan in 2019 where Eric has worked at Valley West Automotive. When the opportunity came up in 2022 to buy the vintage VW part of Valley West, we were very excited! After one year, we were offered the rest of Valley West’s business which specializes in the newer VWs, Audi, Mercedes and BMWs. We hired on the technician working for Valley West for this division and have become a great team of 3! We all strive to be the best in our roles and provide our customers with amazing service.
